With over 50 years of unwavering service to children and families, Nellita Greenidge is a seasoned Registered Nurse, retired educator, and certified midwife. Her life’s work has centered on nurturing and guiding young lives, helping countless children grow into confident, capable, and productive members of society.

Shadeed Greenidge is an accomplished educator and child advocate with over a decade of experience supporting diverse learners and families. She brings a unique combination of educational expertise and social work experience to J&G, creating an inclusive and nurturing environment for all children.

We now offer online tutoring with a dedicated educator to support students in key academic and creative subjects. Availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Pricing is additional.

What Are Your Rates?
Our rates are as follows:
- Preschool: $300/week
- After-School Care: $90/day or $300/week
- Daily Drop-In: $80/day
- Sibling Discount: 5% off total tuition for two children
We also accept NYC Childcare Vouchers. Please call to apply.

What ages do you accept?
We care for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years, including infants, preschoolers, and after-schoolers.

What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Our after-school program is available from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

Is there a curriculum?
Yes! We use age-appropriate academic workbooks and hands-on learning tools. Our curriculum includes:
- Preschool Math Workbook (number tracing, addition, subtraction)
- Alphabet & Letter Tracing
- Creative arts, story time, music, and structured play

Are meals provided?
Yes, we provide nutritious snacks and meals each day, following health and safety guidelines.

What is your staff-to-child ratio?
We maintain a low staff-to-child ratio to ensure individual attention and safety, exceeding state requirements.

Do you offer part-time care?
Yes, part-time and daily drop-in care are available based on space and scheduling.

How do you handle discipline?
We use positive reinforcement and redirection techniques to guide behavior. Our goal is to foster emotional growth and respectful social interaction.
